Hello everyone, After my first crochet pattern if you didn’t see it check it here. I gained enough courage to create a special premium pattern. So I went on Pinterest to get some inspiration and decided to create something with ruffles. I sketched it on paper and I hoped it will look much better crocheted since I can’t draw😂. Fortunately, it did turn out exactly as I imagined. I was very happy the too much effort it took to create this dress payed off and I was extremely happy with the result.
Now lets talk about the dress a little bit
This dress can be a cute baby shower gift. It can be perfect for photoshoots. The yarn used is a sport weight cotton acrylic blend. I love to crochet baby garments with cotton acrylic blends since its elastic and soft on babies skin.
Stitches used in this crochet dress pattern are:
Chain (ch), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet, (dc), triple crochet (tc), slip stitch (ss),double crochet v stitch.

- Alize Cotton Baby/ 50% cotton 50% acrylic, cream color , winter sky color or any sport weight cotton acrylic blend yarn. But I honestly recommend the cotton baby yarn its very soft and lovely to work with
- 1-3 skeins for each color. (according to the size you are making.)
- Hook: 3 mm & 4 mm.
- Stitch markers, sewing needle and matching thread, yarn needle to weave in ends, measuring tape. Here is a set with one of my favorite hooks sets along with stitch markers and needles
Sizes:
I wrote this pattern for 0-3 month size and changes for 3-6 months , 6-12 12-18, 18-24 months in parentheses.
Skill level: Beginner- Advanced beginner
Notes:
- I wrote this pattern with measurements (cm) (not in counts of stitches) In my opinion its easier when someone is working with a different yarn.
- However you will find gauge in the pattern to help get the same texture and look if you wish.
- Dress is worked form top and ends at the bottom and the straps are worked separately and joined to the dress. then the ruffles are worked.
