Hey Guys!! Today I have a very interesting textured crochet pillow pattern For you. I have included both a chart as well as written pattern for you!
I’ll be honest with you! although am the one who designed the pattern and made the chart for it! while making this pillow I discovered a mistake that I made early on. And I had to forg a lot of what I have already crocheted. I then had to work it up again. But unfortunately I discovered I made another mistake again. So I had to choose to either frog it again and procrastinate finishing it forever.
Or to compensate the mistake I made earlier with another mistake to some how keep the symmetry of the diamond! and be honest about it with you!
So I chose the second option! and I recommend that you take a look at the chart while working on the pattern so that you don’t do the same mistake I made :D! now can you spot the mistake?
Pin it for later!!
Now let’s take you directly to this crochet pillow pattern

- Mini Bobble Stitch (mini bo): Yarn over, insert your hook into the next stitch. Pull yarn through two loops as if you are doing the first part of a double crochet (DC) (2 loops on the hook). Repeat one more time. So that you have 2 HDC on your hook and 1 initial loop (total 3 loops on the hook); yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.
- bo- Bobble stitch: Yarn over, insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two loops. as if you are doing the first part of a double crochet (DC) (2 loops on the hook); Repeat it until you have 5 HDC on your hook and 1 initial loop (total 6 loops on the hook). Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops. (1 loop on the hook – pull pretty tight, so your bobble really pops up). And sc in the next stitch.
Notes:
- The pattern is written in US terms.
- You may want to make the pillowcase 0.5 inches smaller than the actual pillow insert. To make sure that your pillowcase fits perfectly without any loose areas, pumps or gaps.
- You can adjust the length of the pillow by adding or subtracting rows from the right and left.
- Your stitch count throughout the whole pattern will be 59 stitches. You may watch this tutorial and apply it throughout the pattern to help you achieve straight edges
- I will be referring to the cream color with color a & to the beige with color b
- If you are following the written pattern you may need to take a look at the chart every now and then to make sure you are on the right track
